Our journey had begun far to the south in Lagos, where we followed the Rota Vicentina around Cabo de São Vicente and north along the Atlantic coast to São Torpes. From there, we made our way to Lisbon and returned to the Camino Portugués Central , a route we had first walked several years earlier.
